Started in 2004 Signature Construction’s commercial division was created to provide construction management services for Pedcor’s new commercial developments located in Carmel, Indiana. Commercial Construction employs many of the same underlying principles of the multi –family side of construction and has the knowledge and expertise to handle any of Pedcor’s commercial projects. In all cases to date, Signature’s commercial construction division has handled every project start to finish inclusive of site development thru tenant finish.

Signature’s Construction and Plan Production teams work closely with Pedcor’s Development and Engineering departments to facilitate a total turnkey construction package. Among it’s many responsibilities Signature’s construction team preforms in-house preliminary budgeting, estimating, bidding, purchasing and contracting. Pedcor’s in house Plan Production Group will act as a liaison between developers/ owners and outside architects and engineers. They solicit and contract outside architects and engineers and oversee the creation and completion of all construction documents through permitting to meet the development team’s timeline and design criteria. Throughout the plan production process the Plan Production Group reviews and evaluates construction documents for completeness, code compliance, cost benefit analysis and constructability which provides a quicker more efficient construction to delivery process with a defined quality end product. During the permitting process, Plan Production evaluates and coordinates responses to municipality questions and during the construction process Plan Production is responsible for fielding and answering construction questions from the construction team or local building code inspection officials. Plan Production is also responsible for new product design and material selection. Plan Production staff have over 25 years of multi-family construction and design experience.
