Job Information

Signature currently has openings for Project Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents for an upcoming apartment community projects in various locations in Indiana, the Midwest and across the country.

Candidates should have a four year Building Construction Management degree with one to four years of related construction experience. Ideal candidates would have construction management experience inclusive of site development aspects such as earthwork, utilities, clubhouse/pool, garage/carport, playground and other various site amenities. Qualified candidates shall also have a thorough understanding of the building construction process and experience with turnover procedures to the Owner. Individuals should have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively with the project team. Apartment buildings are stand alone, 2-4 stories, slab on grade, wood framed structures with 12-24 units per building.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of computer based scheduling, budgeting, word processing and communication applications.
Candidate will have direct responsibility for managing subcontractors and suppliers, project scheduling, quality control, project communication, project documentation, problem solving and project safety program on projects up to $30,000,000 in construction costs.

Title Project Engineer
Job Information

Signature currently has openings for Project Engineers for our upcoming apartment community/mixed use projects. This position will be based out of our corporate office here in Carmel, Indiana and will require some occasional travel to project sites.

Candidates should have a four year Building Construction Management degree with one to four years of related construction experience. Ideal candidates would have construction management experience inclusive of site management and office construction administration. Qualified candidates shall also have a thorough understanding of the building construction process and experience with the bidding/procurement process, plan distribution, coordination of ASI’s, addendums, contract documents, submittals, quantity take-offs, and contract deliverables. Some experience with job cost systems and coding would be beneficial.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of computer based scheduling, budgeting, word processing and communication applications.
Candidate will have indirect input regarding project scheduling, quality control, project communication, project documentation, and problem solving on projects up to $30,000,000 in construction costs.
